The University of Mysore is a public university. In reality, it was founded as early as 1916. Most importantly, NAAC has given it an A-grade and UGC has recognized it as well. Courses Offered

Admission
The university conducts its entrance examination for the courses they offer during the month of July each year. Candidates have to sign up online for the entrance exam through the application form. Admission of students to universities is made by analyzing different entrance examinations like NATA, CSIR NET/ UGC GATE/NETand JRF. Mysore University conducts its own entrance exam, namely Postgraduate Entrance Exam (PGEE) for all PG courses. However, in order to be admitted into the Ph.D. program, the university has an entrance exam using the UGC/CSIR model. Any candidate who has a minimum 55 percent marks (50 percent for those with disabilities, SC/ST/PC) is qualified to apply for admission to Ph.D.
