• Sardar Patel University was established by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the then Bombay Province in December 1955 and turned into recognized under 2f of the UGC Act in October 1968. The college has completed 56 golden years of a fruitful existence that has introduced it to the forefront in phrases of its educational excellence. No wonder, then, efforts were made both to emulate its instance or to duplicate it somewhere else in Gujarat.

  Facilities and Infrastructure 

  Pollution-free, clean, and lush green environs greet you as you arrive at Vallabh Vidyanagar and Sardar Patel University campus. The University these days spreads over a complete landmass of 86 acres with a major campus and four satellite tv for pc campuses.

  Residential Accommodation 

  The university has six Boy's Hostel with facilities like Mess, Internet, Computer Center, well class laboratories common recreation room Satellite Campus-4, situated at some distance, way behind the University Staff Colony, homes the Kendriya Vidyalaya Staff Quarters and adjacent land, that unfolds over 2.849 acres, with a built-up vicinity of 11,529.50 sq. mts.

  Library 

  The University Library called Bhaikaka Library is housed in a very large and magnificent building having spacious studying rooms that may accommodate 700 readers at a time.   Sports Facilities 

  The university has developed its own playground on 15 acres of land.   Medical Facilities 

  The University has its own Health Centre which takes care of the students. Students are advised to apply the power as and when necessary. The University Health Centre is open on all working days (Monday to Friday) between 9.00 am and 11.30 am and between 4.00 pm and 6.30 pm. Saturday 9.00 am and 11.30 am.

  Placement 

  The Average Salary for the year 2020 placements was Rs. 4.31 Lacs per annum. The highest salary received was Rs. 6.5 Lacs per annum.
